For Easter week.  The Holy City and Bells of St Mary’s. Jamie and Michael singing. https://www.jamieoreilly.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/The-Holy-City-Bells-of-St.-Marys.mp3

Arise my love, my fair one, follow me
For the winter is past. Now the rain is over and gone
And the flowers bloom in the land
And the turtledove sings sweetly, once again”

Happy Spring. Wow.
That was one heck-of-a challenging winter!  I’ve been on a kind of public hiatus but I’m back on schedule with my arts coaching, and booking Michael Smith all over the country.  In mid-April, Michael and I go on the road with Songs of A Catholic Childhood with new songs like Sons of God and Sisters of MercyThere’s a talk with Journalist Robert McClory for our Patron’s Event in Glen Ellyn on 4/21. My brother Willem (Boulder) and writer friend Zoe Keithley (Sacramento) will be coming to town for that.  I now have a beautifully remodeled kitchen. On April 27, I resume my role as Salonniere* of Roots Salon. I really liked creating “And the Poet Sang” for the Poetry Foundation with Michael and Peter Swenson in February. So we are singing those songs – and more – when the Roots Salon Reopens on 4/27.  Women from the Community of Voices Salon will read.
