The 2026 Roots season will bring even more fine musicians, writers and readers to our home at Tre Kronor Restaurant in Chicago’s North Park neighborhood.

Roots Salon is in its 6th year at Tre Kronor Swedish Bistro, presenting Salons in a dinner theater style setting. Events present some of the finest area musicians with whom Jamie sings in musical styles ranging from folk and classical, to cabaret and jazz.

With the addition of guest host JR Sullivan in Feb 2026, the salon will expand its roster of performers and musical themes.

Roots Salon is an independent, community focused project, starting in 1993. Tre Kronor has been its home since the waning days of Covid. To support this work please send your contributions via PayPal, Zelle or Venmo.

Jamie hosts soirees and curates the Roots Salon, a century old family tradition of presenting art, performance and conversation.
