A note from Michael
Oh man I’m getting to go to New Jersey for a while and visit with my pal Dave Jeffreys. I get to play a show in Brick, and to see what The Shore looks like now. Bracing myself a little. And doing a show at Robert Bobby’s house in PA. I love their neighborhood, just driving there is a pleasure. I’m working on a song about Gene Autry, and getting recordings of Snow Queen together for the Park Square Theatre in St. Paul. These folks are gonna mount a production next winter. Can’t wait to see what they do with it. They want to use Scandinavian folk instruments, being up there in St. Paul and all. If you see Anne Hills, see if you can get her to sing “St. Paul” like Ethel Merman. If you see Ethel Merman, get her to sing “St. Paul” like Anne. Maybe I’ll get to see my cousin at my gig in Babylon, New York. And then, and then, going to Miami to do a show with Gabe Kaplan. How cool is that? Stay warm.
